I got an Amazon gift card for my birthday. I ordered a Feather AS-D2...then I ordered a Feather Popular with the rest of it. Whole lot of Feather in my future.

 

Been wanting a G8 for a while now. Finally found one at a decent price with case included. Even though it has a small crack on the cover, it was still less expensive than most sellers selling the razor by itself. I can dig up some blades for it somewhere in one of my boxes.

 

A spare MJ90 baseplate, and a bottle of Caties Bubbles - Le Marché Du Rasage.

 

Very nice! I picked up a G8 a while back and really like it.

 

After just posting that I am not looking for any new razors, this showed up in a raffle. Brian Brown half hollow 6/8. It's inbound.

 

Aarghh, I missed that raffle. This is the next razor on my list. Nice catch.

 

Just put out a bid on this re-plated Gillette NEW long comb and "won" so I guess I'm waiting for 2 razors now... I have a slim on the way too.


I'm just busy deleting my ebay account. This has to stop

Opps, I vaguely remember seeing this bottle of Old Spice. I kind of recall thinking it was a good price but surely I'd get out bid...

Nope, I was the only bidder. Soon to be the owner of 6 ounces of Shulton from between '74 & '81. I won't splash with abandon from my current bottle until this one arrives.

 

Last month I purchased two Arkansas stones, one 8x2 translucent and one 6x2 Washita, from a guy who had purchased a bunch of stones that didn't make the quality cut from Dan's Whetstones. They were final cut, but not lapped. The Washita had a dinged corner, and the translucent has some visable cracks that are below the surface. I have SIC powder, but decided to have a guy who makes whetstones lap them for me. He lapped both sides, and did one side with a courser finish. The translucent took 7 hours on his lapping machine to get done. I made the right choice. Including shipping three times and lapping, I have $50 bucks in these two stones. Can't wait to get them.

 

I'm jealous of that haul, Rick. Congrats!
