This a group buy brush/soap/AS from the Against the Grain shave forum. You may want to visit this forum. I believe it is UK based. A bunch of nice folks. The brush is made by Michael Red (France). The soap and after shave are made by Le Père Lucien. The brush handle made of yew wood.
It's not bad. The shellac is peeling on the bottom of the handle. I'll strip it and probably restain it. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Great looking brush! I bought one a few months back. I think mine is a #3. They're nice solid brushes.
It looks like it will be here tomorrow instead. It finally hit Trenton, NJ at 1030 this morning. It's still not as bad as two years ago when my Milord fell into some kind of temporal distortion in KS that took over a week to escape.
I saw the lot and on a whim decided to make an offer ... in fifteen minutes they accepted. They're happy, and I'm happy, good deal.
Waiting on this Schick Golden 500 that I won on TSD Holiday Raffle. I will likely be using it for my Christmas shave. Woo-hoo!
John, I have one and it is a cool retro razor. Reminds me of my Blue Tip. Mild but this is subjective. Good shaver.
Decided to get myself a Holiday gift, while keeping it in the $10.00 range, give or take $2.00. Yep, I'm even cheap to myself. Got this Ever-Ready SE razor, first one for me, and Gem case to use for my Gem 1912 / @Jayaruh custom handle. Even if I have to re-do the bottom to fit it for the handle.
I was thinking it might be close. A bit longer in length and width. Also been conversing with Scott at North Shore about refinishing the Gem head.
I was going back and forth from this one to a cased Schick razor. Both were the same price, but settled on this one.
I was hoping for today, but with Christmas on Monday, I won't be getting it before Tuesday. I will have to change my choice of razor for my Christmas shave.
