I will join the list of folks sending prayers. Keep a good outlook get some rest and have great shaves.
Thank you. Biggest thing I need to do it seems is relax and temper my expectations. It's amazing how quickly I can feel it in my chest when I get a call for work or the kid's get to me. Going to be an adjustment period. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Sadly Im going to have to set my straights aside for a while which hurts as I had been dedicating a lot more time to them recently and had been working on my first restoration of a straight. I'll get back to them eventually though. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Bingo! More I will use the word news as if I unleash a run of explicitives Im feeling I may offend some. Apparently our efforts to control and clean up the water were enough and a bunch made it around a wall and half way across our mid level of the house and a bunch of our wood floors are starting to warp and curl at the edges. I know just let insurance deal with it but holy crap I can take much more of this bs. There was also a tv PlayStation and several other items of my son's in the basement that are apparently toast as well. Anxiety in this house is high to say the least. Keep a detailed list ... I've worked insurance; details from food loss to necessary clean up materials will help recupe losses.
I'm worried / concerned about the potential gap between their estimate and what it will cost to fix the issues. We spent a small fortune when we had our floors done. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
I am sorry to hear of your trails and tribulations . I wish there was a way to convey my deepest sympathies other than just to say that I will keep you in my thought and prayers.
That is awful news. Im sure your insurance company will sort at least most of it. My brother once lived in a small flat under a hotel while he worked there. The drains in the back streets became blocked when we had extremely heavy rain, and when we got another freak thunderstorm they burst and filled the streets. The fire service were called to save him but when they got there he was swimming in the sewage out of a small window at the top of the room. He lost all of his possessions and both of our cars were flooded. His floated away down the road. I had bought mine a week earlier. This story is meant to make you laugh - these things are sent to try us but with the help of your family you will find the strength to overcome them
1938-1945 Gillette Tech (Made in USA) (triangular slots) nickel plated and in what appears to be excellent condition (entire razor shines with no spots of discolouration). Won it in an eBay auction. No box/case but I can make one to store it in for now and maybe find a vintage Gillette box in the future. Should be here in the next couple days
Excited to hear a review. Most of the Va Sheng knots I've used have been nice. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
