I am waiting on some Tabac and a couple of donor Omega 49 brushes from Maggards. They seem to be on the USPS Yo-Yo circuit. I usually get my stuff from Maggards in three day. Today, it is seven and I am still waiting. They are in Greenville SC now. Maybe they will get here tomorrow. I participated in a Soap Passaround that was doing this on it's way to me. One phone call to a nearby post office got the package pulled from the ping pong match. I drove 10 miles to pick it up instead of letting them bounce it around a couple more days.
Finally decided to order me a Captain's Choice lather bowl. Wasn't going to because of the cost. However, after reading what they do for veterans it was a no brainer. Girlfriend picked the color. I'm stoked!!!
You will really enjoy the bowl, does a great job. brush doesn't hit the sides and the lather won't spill over. Sent from my QTAQZ3 using Tapatalk
Hope so. Switched from face to bowl lathering about 4 wks ago. I'm getting more consistent and better lather which means better shaves for me. The bowl I've been using is smaller and smooth on the bottom. It was starting to feel like a chore trying to work the brush and lather the way I wanted.
I bought some Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shaving cream last week. First time I've used a cream with a brush. Combined with the Crown King scuttle, it was a nice, warm shave with a good scent. Tonight, I pulled the trigger on this little gem. A 1960 Gillette Fatboy F1, my birth quarter.
Yea. I have heard this. Oh I still have the bent one from the auction you put me on. It's yours if you want.
Very cool Fuzzy! I still have a stack of JD ceramic for you too. If/when you get your fuel pump fixed, and I install a clutch we'll arrange a meet up for the swap.
