I am the first stop on the Wedge Pass Around over at TOST. @twhite is sending his Heljestrand razor and a couple of wedges along with his Allego Stropping Machine for ease of honing. It is out for delivery, and I am stoked. I will be using it tomorrow and all of next week.

A couple razors and brushes ...

Made an offer that was accepted. Got an Easy Rider Schick I was looking for.

 

Got a 1920s (1921-1928) Gillette Old Type Cap & Guard (universally threaded) factory nickel revamp from Razor Emporium coming in the mail. Gonna stick that on my EJ knurled handle. Should be here in the next couple days.

Also have a 1964 (J-3) Gillette Super Speed Flair Tip coming in the mail. In good/great condition, not a mark on it and no plating loss. Should be here in the next couple weeks.

 

My first razor loss (in the mail). 49 cased Aristocrat Jr mailed from the UK (w/out tracking - no tracking part not my call) on Nov 12th. I was hoping that it was addressed wrong and would eventually find it's was back to the sender. Looks like she's lost and/or someone else has a nice razor. Nuts!!!!

I’ve got the Starling coming PAA and a Mamba. 2018 rule is buying one razor a year. Need to slow down the acquisitions of razors. Looking to pick up a Backland SE for my 2018 razor. It will tough resolution.

Congratulations! That’s a nice razor.

 

Waiting on this lot.. I’m excited about two of the razors.. a goodwill missing the ball end. I can’t tell if the barrel is cracked. I’m also excited about the psycho tech.

 

Some day I really want a Psycho Tech!

 

I have an English one and a reproductions key. I wish this one had a key too but it’s ok
