The suspense! I hate waiting for gear to come!

 

I'm downtown and juuuust got a delivery notice....I'm waiting for two packages - on fun (full of razors (literally...about 6-7 of them...) and one boring/mundane package. Won't know which one until this evening

 

You've got some serious RAD my man. Lol

 

Well, it was one big lot of 'em. I really only want 2 of them...the rest of them I have an interesting plan for

 

Two things:

a) My first horse-hair brush


b) My first Soap Commander product:

 

an Oscar11 boar brush and muhle r41

Jabonman Rose and Jabonman Honeysuckle soaps on order from Manuel. Plus, I just did a trade for Jabonman Peperrilla. This will give me seven Jabonman soaps for a nice weekly rotation.

I've seen so many of his beautiful brushes posted. I'm excited to be the owner of this one.

I'm still waiting for the Barbon cream and Aftershave that I ordered from Shaveabuck on the 24th. I sent them an email today, but no response so far.

 

I received my package from LuxuryBarber today...but...unfortunately instead of the balm I ordered...I received a soap.
I did get some very nice freebies thrown in as part of the Black Friday deal and liked those a lot!
Emailed @JoshLB and hoping to get my balm

 

What freebies did you get? I love that they toss things in. I placed an order early in November and got back some samples of Game day Pre-shave and aftershave balm, a sample pack of Fresh Richies and an actual full sized box of Fresh Richies. They always have a Luxury Barber sticker stuck on the box, and I wish they'd include a couple of those on the inside.

 

I got;
One 10-pack Fresh Richie towelettes
A generous 1.5oz sample vial of Fine's "American Blend" (that smells great!), and
A .5 oz tube "Cleanse and shave" by EvolutionMan

All very nice and thoughtful things to include

 

It appears most all of us shave folks are deeply in to instant gratification.. Gotta admit I take a peek at the tracking site more than I should.
