A Hardright brush ... paid a bit more than usual, but they're harder to find. Please remember this is a before picture.
A restored french straight razor. I will post pictures when I received it. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. Greetings Thorsten Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
New brush and a travel case on the way, pics to follow when they land later. Brush generated by the fact that my cheap one shed clumps of hair yesterday, so upped the game a little on the brush front. Use my travel brush this am and it worked well though as its synthetic (assume that's why) it didn't really hold water very well leading to longer lathering while i got the mix right. Once I had that in my head all went well. I don't think I'll use Feathers in the Futur going forward though as there's not really much between Astras and Feather for in in this one, if anything I do a tad better with the Astras. I'll be on the Fatip from tomorrow though as "May" begins with blade change time for me
Good news. The wait is almost over. My Pal Injecto-Matic is in Greenville SC, just 40 miles down the road. That means that by tomorrow afternoon, I will have it in my grubby little hands. Woo-hoo!
One more impulse buy: a lot consisting of a Schick Krona, a Trac II handle, and a mystery Bakelite DE.
Check out the Straight Razor thread. There are some members here that do restorations on straights.............. http://theshaveden.com/forums/forums/straight-razors.32/
LOL Turnabout for the Aristocrat. I almost bid on that one. I'm guessing that is an Aristocrat Adjustable and not just a really brassy Slim.
