Nice choice Guy! Turtleship makes excellent products and their Bay Rum is my favorite BR of all time, almost has a clean vibe to it. Lather quality is top tier IMO.

 

Thanks. A buddy of mine who lives in San Diego has the BR, doesn't really care for it but didn't want to part with it (go figure) so being a BR junkie had to give it a try. The ingredients look mighty fine and showing up more on the forums so must be doing something right!

 

About my Stoylin gear-I've been told it won't be delivered till around the 10th. I can wait .

C Grossmann Merx& co 320 on the way. The pics aren’t the best but it appears to be in great shape other than two small chips in the blade. Not the best of pics for the listing but not bad enough to prevent risking a small bid. Love when an auction ends on a holiday. Happy fourth everyone.

I am waiting on this left-handed AutoStrop. Note that the gears are on the left side.

No, it is not. Have you ever seen an AutoStrop with the gears on the left side? I will do comparison pics when I get it.

 

Can I assume the left-handed part is the stropping?

 

If you hold the razor so that the blade is pointing towards you, the gears are on the left. If you hold it in your left hand like you are going to shave, the gears will be towards you. Normally, the gears are on the right side so that when you hold it in your right hand ready to shave the gears are towards you. I just thought it interesting that I have never seen this configuration before.

 

Waiting on a new brush from Razorock. Wife picked up my current one and discovered that she like it for applying some kind of makeup so I took the opportunity to buy another one along with a brush and razor stand.
