A mismatched set. I definitely overpaid but I wanted the case as mine doesn’t look this nice. I’ll end up flipping the razor and my case, and hopefully I can make it up. Lol

 

One of these two tone brushes from WCS, with the hope that I can separate the knot(26mm) from the handle and leave both intact.


Then hopefully I can replace the 24mm knot in my Wild West Brushworks "Invasion" handle which is way too small.

 

I like that 24mm knot. And that blue handle. Let me know how it goes. I might be interested in both if you are looking to recoup some $$ back

 

Made an offer and the seller accepted. The case is rough and the razor looks ok.

 

Swedish Swing . Probably a mismatched handle but I just like the looks of the head.

 

That does look cool.

 

Looks like it might share the short guard span of the Matador which I like a lot.

It might not be mismatched; I've seen others with similar handles.

 

Ok , interesting. I've seen the head in travel sets but wasn't sure what other handles were fitted.

 

I saw this brush and picked it up for a reasonable price .....



It looks like a copy of an Ever Ready 69, 79, 89, 100, 150 or a C40. I'm thinking it might be a Boots. I found that Boots were known to have their brushes produced by Simpson and Rooney in the past. Anyway it has no maker mark and I look forward to restoring it.

I've not tried their shaving soaps, but I've purchased samples of their Witch Hazel and Aloe and they gave me a shampoo bar sample. I like em both.

Swapped a little bit with another TSD member. Headed my way, a Yaqi Double Open Comb (DOC) Mellon head DE razor. He included some parts and bits that I'm going to try to use to make a handle for it.
