Thanks for posting this. Forgive my ignorance, the bar looks square. Would you grate it and press it into a bowl or is soft enough to just mash in a bowl?
From Amazon reviews, describing the product: "This soap is soft, like putty. It comes wrapped in paper and is best used by scraping a chunk of it from the wrapper and pressing it into a container such as a small food-storage cup. It can then be brushed into a lather, using the cup as a shaving mug. Valobra is meant to be used with a shaving brush." " This is a softer soap, so I find it easy to break off an almond sized chunk for each shave. The soap is packaged in an outer box and an inner plastic bag. The soap could easily be transferred to a bowl or tub, but I just keep it in the bag and close it up tight after each use. In my opinion, this is a foolproof soap that is worth the money." It's a softer soap and lathers with exceptional ease. One big plus is that if warm the softness allows you to "mold" in into any receptacle such as a mug or bowl and it stays there; it's a lot like very dense clay. As far as quality of soap goes, it's 5-stars for sure.
A sample pack of 120 blades from Russia that I purchased today on eBay. I thought this was an amazing selection and great price that included 20 each of the following blades; Sputnik, Ladas, Voskhod and Rapira SS, Swedes and Platinum's. The price was $5.00 with $6.80 shipping. That's less than $0.10/blade! Should be in late month.
