I recently had him do a Rhodium replate on a fairly messed up English Fat Handle and it came out great.

BTW, BackRoadsGold is also the only plater I've seen that charges the same for Nickel, Gold, and Rhodium.

Lol I take it, it was expensive. The whole in your wallet must of opened up just a tad. I know my wallet disintegrated.

 

Sometimes you come soooo close. My NIB Dorset is missing its cap. I'll be using the DuBarry with all those new blades I got until I can figure out a fix. Unfortunately Dorsets aren't growing on trees.

 

It's a seasonal that's not always available. Rumor has it this may be the last batch of this scent.

 

I’ve seen a lot of those razors on eBay. They are not that hard to find. Is the cap specific to that model?

 

Well I picked up a Bakelite one so problem solved. Seller gave me a partial credit. For the record the model preceding the Dorset and following the DuBarry looks like it takes the same cap.

Ok, this is silly, but for 3 ponds on eBay UK it was a steal. People in the states have been pricing these blades stoopid.

 

13 days after being loaded on the slowest truck possible my order made it to Aurora CO just to be handed off to USPS for delivery. After traveling through the destination city I might add(you have to go through Colorado Springs to get to Denver from Pueblo). I don't think any shipper could be nearly as bad as FedEx, next time I will pay the extra $2 to "upgrade"to USPS priority shipping.

I do feel for you, though. I had one a while back which was a UPS->USPS handoff. PITA since the UPS depot is like 3 minutes from my house and the truck regularly comes through our neighborhood, anyway.
