You will like it a lot. Let me know your thoughts when you get it in hand. Did you get the open comb or solid bar plate?
That's good news. I don't need to look at that kind of seductive eye candy. Looking forward to your shave reports.
Not being a big fan of the investment of time or money in learning to hone, but curious about Japanese kamisori style razors - those Chinese guys have produced a less expensive, but what appears to be acceptable quality Feather Artist Club/CJB clone. For all of $6.34 complete with 10 blades I'll give it a try.
Just placed an order for a Shave Gel/Aftershave set from the company AgadirMen, although not directly from Agadir. This is solid Oudwood. In the order, the shave gel is free. THAT is good, but I was annoyed that the shipping is so high from the company I used-Williamsport Barber Supply. I'm angry with the AgadirMen website, as they wouldn't accept my e-mail when signing in,to be a customer, but they accepted the same email in signing for their newsletters. That makes about as much sense as Yankee Stadium being located in Boston. The shave gel, by the way, is invisible. But now that I'm shaving with my glasses on, I should be able to work with it better. In sum-this was one of those orders where my desire to have the products was the most important factor. This could be good stuff.
Very nice Jim! It's a good razor, but when you open it up a ¼ turn it becomes a great razor! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
OK, here's an update on this Agadir situation. Turns out AgadirMen is just a section of Agadir International. Most of Agadir Int. is for the ladies. Next time I get the products I ordered from Wm. Bowman Barber Supply, maybe I can save some by doing it directly from Agadar Int. And just now, I WAS able to successfully sign up. Makes sense since Agadir Int. is the whole enchilada. Ah well, we learn things in here.
Ordered some electronics to re-cap a 1952 tube amplifier Viewlex record player and 3-way cross overs on a set of JVC SK-15A speakers. Also Picked up some movies Zathura (2005) and Carbine Williams (1952)
I was all set to crash for the night when I did a final scan of the brushes on ebay. I'm now waiting for a pair of vintage brushes ... one is a vintage Omega and the other one is one I've been wanting for quite some time now .... A Simpson Keyhole. All for a price I thought about five seconds about. Now it's time to sleep.
