Thank you, guys. I saw this auction Saturday and decided I was going to get it.
They are still making the Major. They're some on Simpsons website now

Look for the Merkur razor/case to hit the BST threads.

Got a good deal on a couple of brushes. I hope to get them by this weekend perhaps! First up is a 26mm Turn-n-Shave white manchurian. Second brush is a 24mm Yaqi high mountain silvertip.

Lol funny thing is when I post in the BST here I never sell anything. No one seems to want to buy and I end up selling most of my stuff on eBay or in other forums.

It is a nice score also. Treet razors are not your common run of mill razors you see for sale that often. That razor would have been made sometime between 1938 when the Treet company was founded and 1948ish depending if it says American Safety razor company anywhere on the head, if it does then sometime from 1948 and up.

I have to take back the dates based upon what I've seen now, this could be anywhere 1938 up and beyond the merger with American Safety Razor company in 1948. Unless the earlier razors had a different razor head style I've seen a few examples perusing the internet that are from after the merger and they match this head style exactly and don't have any American Safety Razor company markings on them.
