A brush for parts.



It's a Century Cosmetic brush that I want to add a bottom to create a full size brush. The bonus is that it's green.

I've been eyeing this vintage shaving bowl .... the brush was just a bonus.

 

I've already tried a sample so I ordered the bowl too. And a bottle of Tabac AS. Had to get them from different suppliers. Connaught Shaving had the best price on the soap but their 'cross the pond shipping on the alcohol based AS was prohibitive, so I got it CONUS.

I got the Tabac AS in part from seeing you use it often. Old school is cool! Might try Joseph's @Primotenore tobacco infusion method on it.

There's a full write up. Basically wrapping the new puck in pipe tobacco and waiting. Later removing the tobacco and enjoying the added scent. I think he used Cavendish that could give a vanilla flavor.

That's gorgeous. It looks like something a viking might use. Love the colors and design. I love their lather bowls. And I'm waiting on a 100 pack of Polsilver SI blades.

I can officially get excited now. I'm #8 on the list for a Wolf Whiskers brush. I filled out the order form and now I'm waiting to get pics for approval and pay for it. I chose a badger (28mm). As soon as this one is delivered, I'm going to get on the list again for one with a synthetic knot.

 

Ugh. I should have staggered my current incoming packages. Two CONUS that seem to experiencing unapologetic USPS delays, and one from across the pond that I didn't pay the extra for tracking.

Going to hold off on a Tabac lather until the AS gets here from near N.Jersey.

Won't do a MWF lather until that boat docks and hands off to the USPS.

The one from Indiana is a mystery... and should have arrived yesterday. You got me wondering Joseph @Primotenore. The added delayed gratification is excruciating! Did the Green Pinaud Special Reserve arrive in good order, and compare to the Red?

 

I’m currently waiting on this Leresche # 61 razor I bought from eBay. I also ordered a Leresche # 34 razor from Etsy.
