Absolutely ...... I listen to all my records and enjoy them not collect them.

I usually find all our records in the wild ..... clean them up and play them. If they're in really rough shape and we really like them; I replace them with mint if possible.

the cap should be brass/nickel plated.fine shavers..it's a #25 set i believe..unless it changed during the later years..that's probably 1951-3 or so..

 

I wasn't sure what year as I didn't see it on @mr-razor's site, unless I'm blind. Here's a pic of the cap...........

 

its' that era,early- mid 50s with that style etching on the cap..not sure when they stopped using bakelite cases..
