@Aztecmike Do the Aluminum Foil and Baking soda clean 1st so you don't remove more silver plating than you need to. https://www.rd.com/list/how-to-clean-silver/
Flitz is some awesome stuff. Thanks Dave..very good advice. I've used that method with very good results in the past. It worked wonders on 100 years of tarnish on a gillette bulldog old type I bought a while back.
I had a few minutes to kill on my lunch break today so I made a deal on this razor made by Prybrands Inc aka Conrad Razor Co. This one will become my regular user to help preserve another one I have with no handle brassing which came in a R.H. & Macy Co. case. I have also seen this same set in a B. Altman & Co. branded case. It's a superb shaver which has become one of my favorites.
Feeling lucky today! just scored a 1955 A2 Gillette Diplomat for less than 20 bucks including shipping.
I plead guilty & am probably personally responsible for crashing the USPS servers with how often I check them for tracking.
LOL! According to the tracking number the 1951 Made In Canada Gillette ball end tech I ordered will be arriving in my mailbox tomorrow!
