What are your three favorite aftershaves for LESS than $10 each?

Some feel that Brut Dominant reminds them of Dior's Fahrenheit for Men cologne. It's very different than regular Brut. Brut recently pulled it from the last few online retailers where it could be found (Walmart, Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com). I had a few bottles but purchased a few more from Ebay a few months ago when it was still reasonably priced. I ordered for a few friends and they also really like it alot.

I'm sure you remember what Joe Willie had so say about the original Brut (love that tag line at the end of the commercial!):

"The Veg" is an aftershave that has resulted in many long forum debates on several forums. While it's not one of my faves, I just had to complete my Clubman collection and purchase it. I'm not yet sure I would run out of the house right after applying it, but after about a half hour, it's quite pleasant.

As for regular/original Clubman, who doesnt love it?! I used to think it was the quintessential barber shop scent, but I think most barber shops have a stronger scent of Lilac Vegetal. Clubman Vanilla is good, too but I prefer Clubman Musk and Citrus Musk. Lime Sec layers very well with many colognes.

This is a tough question, especially since you dont indicate sizing...after all...you can get a sample of just about anything under $10. Just saying.

If we are assuming "regular" size bottling, here are my options in no particular order:

Anything by Pinaud Clubman. I particularly like their original scent and Lilac Vegetal, however.

Old spice. Once again, you could go with several options here, but I like their classic scent.

Stirling soaps aftershaves. This is kind of a copout to name an entire line...but seriously...have you tried their stuff??? It's fantastic! They have farrrr too many great scents to list.

If you are looking to buy...start hete. You won't be disappointed.

I've only been wet shaving a short time, but I have tried about 9 aftershaves, so far. The 3 that came right to the front for me are:

Florida Water

Aqua Velva Classic Blue Ice

 

5 years later and I am still a one trick pony with aftershave.

p.s. Well of course you have to use an alum block and witch hazel before you apply the aftershave lotion.
