  2. I was wondering when someone would either ask the question, or claim to use this style of brush. It's a synthetic so you don't need soak the bristles to hydrate. How well does it lather?

  10. @Slipperyjoe have you been drinking too much Menthol again while painting you're face. :p:happy097:

  11. On the strength of your experience with the Plisson, I just bought a synthetic one with resin handle. It's expensive, I hope it blows my Omega synthetic which I bought at 1/10th of the price, out of the water.

    This is my new Plisson.

  12. I go between two brushes. For my creams I use a Kent silvertip and for soaps I like the Semouge 620 as I find the stiffer bristles work better for soaps. That's all I use. I'm not a collector of brushes.
  13. I've been using a Plisson exclusively for almost twenty months. I like it that much, and it is still as good as the day I received it. You should be very happy, especially if you face lather like me.

  14. This is a good point. Optimal brush may be dependent upon soap choice and lather method.

  15. So the Plisson is not too soft for face lathering?
  16. I hope it's not as soft as a best budger. My Omega synthetic is excellent and has the right touch on the face. I expect the Plisson to be better for the money I paid.
  17. I ordered the Razorock Plissoft Monster, it's cheap.

  19. I have about a dozen badgers I rotate through, along with three boars, two synthetics and a horse.

It goes in spurts where I rotate strictly every day, and then I go through times where I just pick out what I am in the mood for.

The change is most of the fun for me.
