I tried the Crystal Roll on, and was rewarded with a rash after a while. Besides, I was not confident that it actually worked and I was having second thought about potassium aluminum sulfate being safe for both mind and body. Now I just use a cheap deo from the pharmacy and the occasional Bulldog branded deodorant. The latter one is an interesting one, lately it has worked just fine. But earlier it looked/smelled like it enhanced my sweaty odor. In fact I smelled like yesterday even if I had showered less than an hour before, and without having done nothing strenuous. It was probably just me, my body chemistry or something in my food that made me smell like a Phoebe Buffay song. But I still blame Bulldog
Everything these days is giving me a rash and/or doesn't work past a few hours. I'm giving this stuff a try this week. So far, less of a rash and it has passed "the gym test." Last week was "primal pit paste" (which is similar to the above). But, the rash didn't change and it the deo part didn't last much past lunchtime.
Looks like a buncha complaints about Old Spice products: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/cosmetics/old-spice.html
Interesting thing about Schmidt's is that if you save 10 of their used jars and send them back for recycling, you get a free jar of deo back. Plus, you get discounts on future orders with email subscription and with actual orders. Also comes in a rub on tube form.
Brut for me. Get it for a buck on sale and it works great. I can't do the clear gel stick. Only the white regular one.
deodorant wise it worked well. But I prefer the texture of primal pit paste, it's not as grainy at Schmidts. also primal comes in a light and scentless version. I'm finding EOs and baking soda irritating and the light version has less baking soda and no scent.
I'm using Ollie Max natural deodorant paste, in maverick scent. Smells like leather and patchouli. Has baking soda, arrowroot powder, and kaolin clay for absorption, with coconut oil and shea butter. A little grainy at first application but works great. And less chemicals. I'm going all natural in as much as possible
