What did we learn from our last shaves?

Which kind do you have?

 

I own the lanolin Iced Subzero, and the lanolin Barber shoppe. Have not cracked open the Barber Shoppe yet.

 

I had lanolin iced Barber Shop. Awesome stuff.

 

In my signature I am now listing my activities.

I will be using at least one TSD exclusive in each shave until Dec 24. All are welcome to join in. I am trying to point out the availability of such good stuff on the TSD site...

 

That's cool, I have only 1 soap and 1 cream right now but they're good stuff.

 

I would highly recommend the TSD AS Splash....it has a great balance of ingredients, and (I believe) just the right amount of glycerine to protect the skin, while leaving my face supple and clean feeling. I really like it.

 

I had the as splash in Yves Saint Laurent scent and the as milk in cool water scent. Both great just not enough lol. Ran out too fast.

 

Today I relearned that Feathers are a great blade, but to be treated with a deal of respect. They'll remind you of poor or lazy technique pretty quickly. But deliver FANTASTIC shaves.

 

Well then...you know how to fix that!

 

Did everybody skip their shave today? I got lazy....

 

I've been incredibly lazy today. Had to go
to SWMBO's company holiday party last night. A very late, very loud night(mare).

 

I report for yearly ordeal next weekend...

 

My wife's company had its party Friday - loud, but the drinks were free.

 

From my shave today I learned again that it is actually possible to save money if I could be satisfied with B&M Latha. Cheap and very effective after two uses.

 

I've only used a couple for 4 total shaves, but so far I agree.

 

I learned that I don't like the Personna Reds in my Fatboy as much as I remember liking them in other razors. I got a better shave from a Treet Platinum last week.

 

Nothing today as I am normally roughing it all weekend shave-wise.
Tomorrow, though, I am really looking forward to see how mah very first horse-hair-brush will work.
Maybe I'll hate it. Who knows

 

I learned that Stetson is still a pretty good aftershave. After all these years of wearing it.

 

Walgreens?
