I'm not what you'd call a photogenic person, so I'm usually the one with the camera. As such I have VERY few pictures of me...everyone else has them and is hiding them away for blackmail. :happy102

OK, I'll play, this is a picture from work, not a great picture, but the best I can find. And yes, I am in need of a shave. It also gives an idea of where my username came from.

 

I wonder if Dustin got a slap or kiss after that picture. It is a good picture other then he missed some stuff on the chin there.. or needs to add some to the top lip.

Jerry always nice to see another SE guy your goatee has more grey in it then mine.

 

And the longer it gets the more it shows! It has even more now, that picture is about a year old.

That is the windfarm that I worked at near Oak Ridge, TN yes that Oak Ridge. The company I work for, Vestas has turbines in the Palm Spring area, and in the late 90's moved their headuarters from Palm Springs to Portland, OR. My avatar is another of our turbines in Oak Ridge. If you look over my right shoulder, you will see 2 towers that just about perfectly frame 3 in the distance. They are V47's meaning the rotor sweep on those is 47m, they are owned by Oak Ridge National Labs. Ours are V80's, yep that means the rotor sweep on ours is 80m. We also have V90's and are working on a new model, that probably won't make across the pond to the states until 2010-11, that has a 112m rotor sweep. I have seen some pictures and they are massive!

 

i thought that was the general consensus. no?

 

I hear much the same type of things mumbled about me come to think about it.
