1. I've never seen the first one before.. this is a tough call. But I'm leaning towards the schick.. the Art Deco style is wonderful

  2. I passed up a number of injectors before I understood how well they work. Now if I see something odd to me in the wild, and it happens less often, I google it.
  3. That first on is a 1909 Ever Ready with the head that springs open from the back...it was called "The New Ever Ready"
    The Schick is a repeater that holds 20 blades in the handle, and the head swivels and there is a plunger at the bottom that you pull out and rack back in, and that injects a new blade while ejecting the old one...

  12. So much to choose from! And we have some outstanding photographers to thank.

    But for "middle class" candidates I like any of the Gillette Aristocrats, the Gillette New Improved Standard, any of the American Button Company versions of the Gillette Old Type, the Pal adjustable, the Gem Heavy Flat Top aka the "G Bar," and a tie between the Merkur Futur and Merkur Vision 2000.
