    Astra SP. (But there are many blades that I have NOT tried yet) But Astras are very good esp for the price.

    I don't use NOS consumables, so my favorite blades are the favorites that are still made today...
    1. Astra SS
    2.Rapira SS
    3. Blue Pack Gillettes ( 7'oclock Super Platinum)
    4. Feather

    Honorable mention: Yellow Pack Gillettes, Astra SP, Shark SC , Treet Durasharp

    Thanks to THE MAN, I am only using Voskhods. The Sputniks, Rapiras and Astras are close. I want to try the Personnas and Polsilvers and will soon....just because I can.

    Rapira blades
    I have been trying different blades to try and find something better but for some reason my face likes them.
    Only downside to me is that they do not last very long.

    Ranger Tech = Silver Star
    Clix = early '60s Gillette Stainless, used for cleanup after the same blade took off a week's worth of beard in a no-name plastic open comb.

    DE - Still like the Iridiums best. Close second are Permasharp Supers.

    SE - Gem Blue Stars carbon steel, closely followed by either of carbon steel Treets or Pals

    Injector - Persona 74s, followed by Schick Plus Platinum

    Voskod's have been my favorite so far, but this morning I used a Wilkinson from Wally World and got a pretty nice shave. Decent shave and locally available? Hmmmm....
