Yikes... I'm going to have to go with a feather blade. Doesn't matter what razor I have tried it in I never get a better shave than when I use a feather.
Everything else can change, but I have found that the one thing I cannot live without when I shave is a mirror.
I thought about using that one, but I can get a decent shave with just about any water out there, not just my city water. So I went with a mirror instead.
Ive had some decent " looking" shaves without the mirror, not tried that with a DE though. I've hit it with a dry safety razor and that just doesn't work. lol
I should go find a thread on this stuff, as I've heard about it, but considered it a rarity with the price and never pursued it. And yet, there it is, sitting on Luke's counter.
Honestly now don't laugh I feel the most important thing is good lighting. However picking from the list mine would be a Weber BullDog handle mated to an EJ89 head. Best combo I've ever used.
Only one item?!? Impossible. I enjoy my little den too much. I'd have to fight at least for "a set" of items. Then maybe I could do it.
If a certain venerated individual could whip the moneylenders out of the temple courtyard, I don't see why one of his followers couldn't do the same for a set of shaving implements.
I've only been to TX once, and I can attest that, at least around Houston, the humidity was definitely BIGGER than Wild and Wonderful WV, lol.
But that was also during the flood back around 99-2000. We couldn't even go on I-10 because it was underwater in spots. Had to turn from Jackson, MS and head through Shreveport. I was bummed, I didn't even get a sniff of "Norlins."
Houston? That's like living in an arm pit--it's humid, hot and smells. I'm from the north part of the state (em... Republic), Fort Worth.
Had a friend who lived in New Braunfels. Think they spend more time in the river than dry land, which, I can't say I blame them.
