what kind of razor is this?

And what should I pay for one? Advertised as woman's gillette.

 

That looks like the women's Gillettes I've seen. No idea about price, around $20 tops, I'd think. Maybe it's just the pic, but the ones Ive seen have handles and stars that are a lot more blue.

 

That's correct sir..you are shopping in the womens' department...lol.

I know a few guys who own and enjoy them. Looks similar to a long handle black beauty, but not adjustable. I've seen them with pink and gold stars as well.

Lady Gillette TTO; (1961-1975); I've seen $40-50 on the upper end in NOS condition.

 

I may try to convert her, but I just happened across one on ebay, for $25.00, no bids and only 2 days left.
I just wondered if it were worth anything.

Looks like it could clean up well. Wish it had a pic of the doors open....gotta see under the hood.

Case looks clean..no cracks. I say pull the trigger. Set a purchase limit or just watch it, and bid right before it ends.

I picked this one up last week for $20





Mint condition, it seems to be s nice razor just got to get this cleaned up and give it a whirl.

 

As they all noted... Lady Gillette. Comes in baby blue, pink, and champagne (pale yellow). and, I think, plain ol' silver.

 

No. I decided not to. SWMBO said she wouldn't use it and I really didn't have the $$$. So I chose not to. I do think it is a beautiful piece though. Nice find.
