Low 40s, wind chill mid 30s. Fired up the grill (charcoal, naturally) for some burgers and dogs. Soooooommmmeee good!
Last week I drove across the supposedly most dangerous bridge in the U.S., in Brookport Illinois. Pfft. It's just Model T narrow.
Looks like the bridge from Lambertville, NJ into New Hope, PA. Gotta pull in your side mirrors or you'll lose 'em.
Bought and installed a new mirror and light above the sink in the bathroom. SWMBO and I chose together. Yes, I did have a say when choosing which mirror and lamp. Or she made me believe that I had a say.
I helped and showed my son how to rebuild the brakes on his truck. It would have been more profitable to not burn 3 hrs of work, and pay a place to do the brake job, but my son wouldn't have learned anything.
I would have gone with the Tappan Zee Bridge in NY/NJ......as you exit the bridge you feel like you're driving IN THE WATER.
Been over that bridge many times, never got that sense. Tappan Zee is gone, now. Replaced by the Gov. Cuomo bridge. It runs higher over the river than the T.Z. did.
Nope. But, i have one for Cream Cheese Penguins. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/19687/cream-cheese-penguins/ .
My 19 year old son bought his first vehicle titled in his own name! I helped him navigate the courthouse and bought him lunch. Pretty proud of him and he only used a little bit of a loan from the Bank of Dad.
