I have regained some strength & endurance with my lightest bow. So today I stepped up to my mid0weight bow. Kept the shoot brief so I can adjust, but I enjoyed it!
Got my toilet to flush properly after I couldn't do so for a couple days(who needs a plumber when ya got ME?).
Able to shoot the 36 lb. Draw weight bow for a bit longer. Then went home & did some light weight training. After this winter’s illness, I have got my strength for everyday tasks back. Now it’s time to get back my athletic strength.
My lovely bride needed a hook for a new bridle in the stable, so I grabbed a piece of scrap bar stock, heated it up in my little forge, and made her one. It was hot and I got sweaty hammering on hot steel, so I think that makes it manly! - Bax
More manliness- I countersunk 4 bolts today. Never countersunk anything before & don't have a countersink bit. Did it anyway.
Well, I made my own pierogies and babka over the last couple of weeks. If you're a Pole, you've gotta know how to make that stuff.
and now here's Sara, lining up to shoot the bow. She glances at the bulls-eye, raises the bow, straightens it out to her liking, settles the arrow to her liking, now pulls back the bow over her shoulder, aims that baby, brings it back toward her front side, FIRES........
