Worked on removing a section of concrete sidewalk and replacing it with brick.
Used a diamond blade on my circular saw for a clean cut and then busted up the section being removed with a sledge into pieces I could carry.
Just over 6 months after my open heart surgery so I’m not over doing it but I made some good progress and the brick is looking decent.

Cleaned up our kitchen, which had been neglected for a couple days. My wife has Parkinson’s, so one of my care giver duties is to do as much of the kitchen and laundry as I can while maintaining some semblance of outside maintenance.

@John Beeman true, I wasn’t specific. Nice work on the walkway!

While eagerly awaiting your pic, I added “snow” & water to my snow globe and glued in the rubber plug.

I glued in the bottom piece with the music-box movement this morning. And now it’s done!

I’m very happy with the results, so I will be starting on another one that needs a restore. The figures inside are a group of meerkats and the music box plays “Side By Side”. As you can see, the water has gotten really cloudy.

I have disassembled the Meerkat snow globe. The music mechanism works, but runs slowly. The rubber plug is still pliable, but badly discolored. So I will be replacing them both.

@BamaT Sorry your wife isn’t well. Prayers for her condition ot be managed as best it can.

I have made some progress on the Meerkat slow globe. All the parts have arrived, so yesterday, I put the “snow”, water & glycerin into the globe and then closed it with the rubber plug (to which the figures are glued). This morning, I applied a layer of glue over the plug. I plan to do a couple of layers, to be sure it is well sealed. Once it’s cured, in a day or 2, I will add the base, with the musical movement. That is the final step.
