What Manly Things Did You Do Today?

Maintained my truck. Oil and fuel filter changed greased the axles. Sealed the hubs. And of course washed her.

My "manly" thing was a good workout at the gym I go to 3 times a week. I'm doing more upper-body stuff now than I used to(but I'm no Hulk Hogan).

 

Grilled 6 pork chops for our 4th of July cookout this afternoon using good old Kingford charcoal and a few chunks of mesquite to give it a little outdoor tang.

 

I bet your wife and best friend are glad.

This is in regard to the recent Gawker lawsuit, if it's a bit too obtuse.

 

I laid about like a lion on the Serengeti only to be disturbed in the event of a crisis.

 

Sounds more dignified and manly than it really is.

 

I made dinner for us both and cleaned up after because my wife is not feeling well.

 

I don't know if it's true, but I read a male lion sleeps about 20 hours a day. The females do the hunting, and the male is only awake for sex, eating and fighting. What could be more manly than that?

 

I ate the dinner my sweet hubby made!

 

I trained a few clients, lifted weights, rode my mountain bike and listened to music !!!

 

I made a big batch of BBQ sauce & brought some to the friends who were hosting a July 4th party.

Yeah, a frappucino isn't manly


It's not even manly to order a Grande or Venti....

 

It begs the question. What did he switch from? Frappucino is one thing, hundred proof Bourbon would be another. It's all about where you stand before the switch.

 

Spent the day disassembling our 6-yr old Bosch dishwasher, trying to find the source for the problem. Replaced the outlet pump (thinking it was the problem….nope!) only to find its probably the mother board. Grrrrr.
Time for a new dishwasher. Good thing they seem to be on sale now for Labor Day...

 

I'll answer it-I had various types of cream in it before.....no Fraps and no bourbon..oh, and especially no sugar.

 

Time to start roasting your own.
