I got my first tattoo. I felt very tough until it started to really hurt when he shaded near my sternum!
Congrats! That's a big boy tattoo (dense ink coverage.) Ive had over 80 hours of tattooing. Full left sleeve and chest. I can assure you that it ain't about tough... You ran out of dopamine, and the sternum is one of the worst locations for being painful. Keep it clean, out of the sun, and enjoy your new art!
That's a hell of a tattoo for a first. I don't have any, but isn't it typical to start with something a bit smaller? That's a great message though. Enjoy it.
Hence my big boy remark. Six hours under a tattoo needle is pretty intense. One gets a small tattoo. Larger tattoos are earned.
Maybe not very manly but I've been working on upgrading the seasoning on a cheap cast iron skillet. I ground the old finish off yesterday and tried to polish it up. It's definitely smoother than when I purchased it. I then spent most of the day oiling and baking it multiple times. It's now gone from bright silver to a dark gold/light copper color. I used it twice today with a little sticking still present. Only time will tell if the time was worth it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I was thinking of throwing one into the Thought for the Day thread every once in a while. Haven't watched for a couple of years, but I love LJG!
Well, first I did this... Now I am enjoying an AVO Classic #3 and three fingers of Appleton Estate Signature Blend Jamaica Rum
