An 18 inch hammerhead shark ( plastic). For one of my girls, who has, in the last couple of weeks, become fascinated in sharks, Wales, and penguins. Where do they get it from?
Needed to pad an Amazon order w/ an item and remember having had this among my saved items for the longest time: I remember using it a couple of decades ago and that I really liked it. Dark, musky, woodsy, smoky.
Who smokes a cigar and cleans his guns with a big rag that he then shoves into his back pocket. This could also explain the forest fire...but that all comes close to the scent.
A whole bunch of notebooks I really liked how these notebooks arrived from CW pen - handwritten note and freebie pencil. Inside, were these French Calepino No2 w/ grid patterned pages; First impressions just feeling the paper and looking at the notebooks is that this is a huge step up from the FieldNote notebooks. It doesn't hurt that they are also the same price as FieldNotes and that there is a great supplier of them here in the US through CW Pen Here's my small collection of notebooks that I'm looking forward to experimenting with to see which one(s) will be keepers going forward. Now, if only my Parker 25 pens would get here as well.....
Not a purchase but a barter. I traded away 2014 Muhle R41, Fatip Grande Anthracite, Vie Long Petree Horsehair and a Jerusalem Olivewood handle with 25mm HMW that I put together for a Behmor 1600 Roaster so I can try my hand at roasting my own coffee beans.
I've been toying with the idea of roasting my own coffee beans...I only really have in-door options though so I'm a bit worried about smoke and setting off all kinds of smoke detectors. Looking forward to hearing about how it works out for you.
Reviews I read state the fan system works really well on this unit. They suggest if you operate indoors to use it on the stove and turn on the exhaust fan over your stove. I plan on using mine on back porch as I have a table and outlet just out the French doors and area is covered by an overhang.
Fun fact: When i was a sailor, we once burned coffee beans in the cargo hold to get rid of the scent of bone meal. It's good at neutralising odours
Bone meal, Joe much did you carry and for what purpose? A friend who was an MP stated coffee was used by drug couriers just for that purpose
I've sailed with it a couple of times. The one I remember the best was fish bone meal from Denmark to Wales. It was for use in chicken feed and I believe it's also used in fertiliser. It always left a greasy sheen all over the ship and was generally gross. We could probably carry up to a couple of thousand tonnes. Edit: If you ever get a piece of chicken that tastes like fish, you now know why
Got in a bunch of earrings for gauged ears. My fiancee and I both have them so we got quite a few. I ordered them from China on eBay so paid less then $20 for the lot. These are liquid and glow in the dark sand filled. I got a bunch of these soft silicone ones in different colors and sizes. The colored ones glow in the dark and are blacklight reactive. I have flesh colored ones for work too. These are for changing sizes. These are too but they came with matching earrings in each size. much lower quality then the sparkly purple ones. These are pyrex glass. Carved wood Also wood
Since our kitchen has been in shambles for the past three weeks (due to leaks in both showers), I bought a buffet for two at Cici's Pizza last night. Gads, I'll be glad when we can have hot water tonight.
