Yes, I am going to try that today. I will hone it just like I do all my razors. I am beginning to think you are right and that this one has hard steel. One more try, then off to Glen . I just don't give up easily

Kamisori are Asymmetrical if you look at the pics that @cubancigar2000 posted in #2268 you can actually see that both sides are hollowed BUT are not evenly beveled like a Western Grind or Bi-Bevel..

Microtome - Used for sectioning tissue samples for microscope sides are one sided or a "Chisel bevel" but they make for harsh shaves unless they are taped and you essentialy change the angles..

Some people as @lindyhopper66 mentioned above will hone Kamisori using a 1:1 ratio or even a reverse ratio to make them more Dual side friendly...

I'm still experimenting with brushes. This is a different set up than tried before with loft, knot and hole size. If I would have know how fan shaped this knot was I would have dropped the loft a few more mm. I pretty much have Omega's figured out for personal preference so I wanted to mess with Semogue knots a few more times. All in all, a great shave this morning and I was pleased with the brush. Have a good one.

well, just for you lindy, so I wont have to do it again here are my big boys, only have two bigger the 10/8 stenton and a anchor 10/8+ the our 136 is a 5/8 torrey. they are 7/8 up to 8/8. the gray handle one is under restoration
