7/8 TI Basic Black, Soap was MdC agrumes lathered with. Rooney brush, and a little SMN balm went well on a cold winter morning - soon to be spring I hope! I am testing a stone from Takeshi and it’s a good one, details in the honing thread.

    The Celebrated King William Razor
    Suds: B&M Hallows/CRSW Sandalwood (20/80)
    Balm: Nivea Sensitive
Finish: Lalique Encre Noir A L’Extreme

Getting to the bottom of a Hallows tub, so mixed that with the Sandalwood... not a bad combo. :)

5/8 E.A. Berg, cream was T&H rose cream, and a splash of Harris Pink finished up a BDBS shave - good hard Swedish steel honed on a fine jnat always brings home the bacon as we say.

    Omega 98 boar brush

    Cella shaving soap

    La rive cabana as

The razor was already good with a coticule edge, but I was curious what a few laps on this small thuringer stone would do. Result sharp and smooth.

Today was the day for my newly acquired 6/8 Double Duck Goldedge Special.

Like my other Double Ducks, this one did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, it out performed the other three. Very smooth. My face only required one pass. A light second pass on my neck and a cold water rinse was all it took for a smooth no stubble shave. Very happy with her performance.

Great set up. I’m a believer in Witch Hazel for after care as well.

Wednesday Morning, new routine regarding stropping. At least 100 rounds for preparation and then 30-40 rounds before shaving. CVH MK No. 24

    Splash: Floid Amber
Fun scale combo of horn & bone. Corvette shift knob brush seemed like a fitting choice. :)
