15/16 ESE Solingen marked, nothing else so I know little about it but I think it is in the Wald Ern family. It is a great shaver and at 15/16 it is a very large razor. The blade is long & wide and the tang and spine are big. I have several 8/8 razors that don't seem as big
Barrister & Mann Lavender - great soap but hates hot water so the scuttle does not work. face lathering out of the tub is best
    Soap Commander Love balm

It'll get a tune up to help it out but it'll be awhile before I get around to it.

    Le Minet (5/8)
    TOBS Sandalwood soap
    Homemade badger (new)
I picked up a couple of inexpensive 2 band badgers knots from Ace Shaving on ebay. They actually seem to be a very decent knot but it's early in the game. Well, I'm off on vacation, hopefully I'll have a job when I get back. I had a memorable confrontation with my passive aggressive weasel of a boss yesterday. He actually tried to kick me out of his office 3 times during our discussion. That didn't work. The good news is I'm 6 weeks from turning 62 and have always had a hobo fantasy anyway. Semper Fi, I swear my hitch in the Marine Corp was solid gold. I needed to pay them instead of them paying me. Sorry for the vent and have a good one. BTW, I did get a call from him late yesterday afternoon and he'd like to get together and try and work things out.

    Steve,

Sorry about the conflict at work. I have never had to deal with a conflict like you described, but even smaller conflicts and tension keep me awake at night.

Hope you can unwind and enjoy your vacation.

Hart 6/8 Custom with burgundy Micarta scales. This one was built by Terry Vannorman and came in perfect shape including 100% shave ready. I love the feel of the odd shaped scales

The person I got the ESE from said the restore and scales were done in Germany by a well known person. Not sure what they are but they are really nicely done

Kenwa kamisori grind Japanese razor - Glen just honed it and it is an OMG shaver. What a trip it was for me to use a kamisori grind for the first time. The wife is going to love to use this one on her legs
