Tourons on tour this morning, lovely old (1850-1860) 1/4 hollows about 11/16. I use these a little more than some of the other ‘case queens’ because the blades are plain, so there’s no wearing fancy gold decorations. And that’s really how I prefer my razors. Soap was MdC rose lathered with a Shavemac Finest knot set in a Wolf Whiskers handle and D.R. Harris Pink finished up a perfect shave.

Gorgeous razor @taskind - stunning!

Tanifuji 8000, soap was Asylum SV Colonia v4.3 lathered with a @Life2short1971 two-band, and a splash of Myrsol Limon finished up.

The Colonia 4.3 arrived yesterday and I have the v4.1 version too. I’ve seen comments that v4.3 is not as slick as v4.1, and based on only one shave, I’d have to agree. The scent is quite good though!

7/8 CVH No 140, the ivory one, the horn got used the last time that I had them out. We’re getting a hint of spring weather, so the soap was MdC agrumes lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a splash of SMN orange blossom water left me BDBS.

 

A fine shave with the Fritz Bracht Dovo this morning. A very pleasing razor
