Thank you Steve - I like what he did with these. The color blob thing works.

Wednesday morning, STILLE, Stockholm Sweden. One of the best razors I have. It has an extremely thin blade and it is so sharp
All though, sadly a crack in the back of the blade. It works perfectly as long as I don’t use that part.

A Gold Monkey, testing out the new pretty coti. Not too hard yet fine. It’s not quite as keen as a good jnat edge but just as smooth, and it’s freshly lapped and these usually make better edges with use. Cream was SMN lathered with a Simpsons 57, and a splash of Agua Balsamica finished things up.

This is my lesser used heirloom from the same grandfather whose Nielsens NeverFail I shave with now and then. Much more wear than his other razor but it still provides a fine shave :happy036:

    Thank you @taskind !

Today was the maiden voyage of a new in box Filarmonica 14 Novodur. It was actually sealed in it’s cellophane (?) bag inside the coffin. You always wonder if someone just bagged an old razor, but the seller is a friend and the razor has no spine wear, a terrible (factory, lol) bevel, and is cosmetically 100%. Surprisingly, about half of that awful looking edge would pass HHT in or out. But I slapped a layer of 1 mil Kapton on it and honed from 4k to finish and the shave was world class.

Cream was I Coloniali Rhubarb lathered with a Rooney 3/2 with the atomic bloom, and a dab of IC Rhubarb balm finished up a BDBS shave.

Another beautiful addition to your Filarmonica stable - Congrats Steve!
I like the round point, as I don’t see that too often.

Been to busy to take pics or keep up with the thread. It seems like the razors here are getting nicer and nicer.

Nice, I am Koraat fanboy for sure.

I am fan of Bruno's two, check my next post.

Much respect for the Friodor blades.

I am a Filly fan too.

Maybe the best steel in my den, love the Riga razors.

Did I mention I am big fan of the Twins?

Feret Freres (F.F.) 7/8 Le Hyalin frameback from the 1930s, soap and AS were Floris 89. I’m an European frameback fan, so I was happy to acquire this one. It took an exceptional edge and shaves exceptionally well!
