ok, I admit it, I’m a Vic Creazzi fanboy! This is the second of two Damascus razors I’ve acquired from him. Unlike my other, this is a Shorty. Just a magnificent mug shave this morning!

6/8 Le Grelot Lotus, rescaled in ivory by ‘mycarver’ before the ban. Soap was MdC rose and the post shave treats were Czech and Speake 88.

It’s hot and humid here, so I went with MdC agrumes and Myrsol limon for the software, perfect for the weather. The razor was a M.K. 133, one of my favorite C.V.H.

    Nice stubtail @jgreenepa

@TestDepth coconut lime is a great summer scent! Love the Crookes, I have one on the way that I hope will clean up nicely. It has a small chip near the heel, so I’m a bit anxious about the impact of that, but we shall see!

They’re nice razors Hans, the one in ivory is, according to Arne (Polarbeard) over at B&B, a M.K 133 prototype made when they still had some M.K. 33 scales left. The stabilizer is different from the later one in black plastic scales, but both shave the same, very good! Basically they are a M.K. 33 with a straight tang and plastic scales, as was the wider No 140.

Thursday morning shave, 232,,Respect. The blade is labelled:
Svenska ( KR 7- ) Frisörkniven. That means “The Swedish Barber Knife”, KR 7- I suspect was the price, 7 Swedish Crowns.
    Splash Floris 1976.

Férèt Fréres frameback from about 1935-36 Soap and AS were Stirling tangerine, with a F&F alum block (they’re still in business), and a two band Rooney copy by @life2short1971did the lathering. Perfect for a 94F day.

Those Herder 49s are great razors.

Mr Crookes and the new JNat delivered the goods this morning, soap was Stirling Lime lathered with a ‘Buck Rodgers’ two-band, and the AS was Myrsol Limon. I am BDBS!
