    Tuesday morning shave, Kayser Ellison 4/8” full hollow. Best Sheffield razor so far.

    Rifuto, soap was Williams South African rose stick, the last good Williams available (until about 4 years ago). A Duke 3 copy in 2-band by @life2short1971 did the lathering and a splash of Myrsol Plastic Shave finished up a rosy shave.

    Brush: Semgoue Boar
    Soap: Mitchell’s Will Fat
    A/S: Alum followed by Witch Hazel

    once again, fine tuned the edge of this blade. Works very well. A little on the sharp side but should smooth out. Also finished with a little beard care. Great shave!

    My near wedge technique must be improving - likely the best shave ever with this particular razor. Twice that’s happened now in recent weeks with a near wedge :happy036:

    Le Grelot 14, soap was MdC rose lathered with a Razorock boar and a splash of Myrsol Plastic Shave finished up a perfect Sunday shave.

    I know what you mean Tom, plain blade, no etching, no gold, no scalloped spine etc and plain scales - an unpretentious gentleman’s razor. They made a very few of these in factory ivory, the last one I saw a few years ago went for around a kilobuck.
