11/16 Le Jaguar, cream was SMN lathered with a Semogue Mistura, and Formula K added some cool to the summer day.

Geo. Stephens & Co (Boker), soap was MdC original in brain bowl lathered with a Thâter boar. A splash of Yardley lavender AS finished up MdC Monday.

The razor and edge belong to my pal Jerry, and it’s a good edge. Those of you wanting to learn honing or just enjoy honing more, do an edge exchange with your friends. I’ve done a couple in the past year and always learn something. It’s a good way to get better no matter what your experience level is, but if you’re starting out, try to hook up with someone that can critique your edges and give you some nice edges as a goal to shoot for.

Emotional and personal shave today. This razor belonged to my mom’s dad so she would have seen him using it when she was growing up. She passed quickly and peacefully yesterday and in good spirits so this shave was for her.
