What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

today I made one pass with;
wade& butcher 5/8 full hollow.
only one pass, time was short and I wanted to use the progress.

 

H. J. Herskovitz…a $15 razor rescued from the local Good Will store. Great shaver!

Yes. Very nice feel to the blade; took a keen edge easily off the hones (escher finisher). Feels good in the hands.

I think this one may wind up in the 'keeper' drawer.

 

Of all my razors, the Friodurs are for sure at the top of the heap. Just something about the way they hone and shave

Hayashi Diamond with covered tang - as new as they come and this one came with an incredible edge sold and honed by Jamie Mahoney. Razor photo by Jamie also) The shave it provided me today was beyond imagination. Thx Jamie, this one is a keeper

Thater Lou sent me 4125/2 I 26mm Two Band Finest Silver Tip Fan I think I may have found the perfect brush and knot, plus the wonderful Catie's Bubbles Le Terre Verte soap thanks again Lou it was a real pleasure dealing with you and I'm sure we will be doing so in the future.

So how was the one pass?

 

This razor shaved so well yesterday that I decided to use it again
Hayashi Diamond with covered tang - just as good as it was yesterday, maybe better. Bought the razor from Jamie Mahoney and he did a fabulous job honing it
WSP Mahogany - a good soap and I like the scent but is not an outstanding soap, just ok

Shave of the week so far, very nice. It's been awhile since I've used Mystic Water and I'd forgotten how good it is. Have a good one.

 

FWE Engels Special - a cheap ebay find that was better than described and shaves so well
Razorock capatins choice mixed with a little Arko Extra performance crème - a surprisingly nice Ubelather
Floid Blue AS - one of my favorites, actually I love anything Floid

Yes I would like that...I am trying to figure out if they are that much better than the shavers from Poertland Razor Company.
