I seem to have a preference for slightly larger blades…(6/8 vs 5/8); not sure why this is. Currently in the rotation are mostly 5/8, one 4/8, and two 6/8. The Frederick Reynolds currently in Glen's hands @ GemStar is even larger (7/8?)/ Maybe when I eventually get my hands on that larger beast, the answer will be more evident.
Yes, this one was mint. The scales are a little tight (short) kind of like what happens with the Red Imps but you can guide it in.
Very nice. My scales got cell rot and I had to take them off. I can't my Red Imp blade into the scales at all. It stays open.
Globusmen Gold No. 11 5/8, maybe only my second shave with it, because of it's small size, but my, what a nice shave.
I really love the look of the metal bolsters on a straight razor. I have one on the way with French Ivory scales and nickel bolsters made by Worcester Razor Co.
