Wrll, getting near the end of summer and the summer ‘work’ is winding down, so maybe I’ll be posting more - I miss my TSD friends! I have a new roof, a new mower, trimmed up trees, and got the work for winter mostly done on my old truck, a 2004 4Runner which I like.

Kiku Okan tamahagane up today, with an oil edge from a Pennsylvania blue slate. Doap was Golddachs Speziale and the shave was very, very good.

I seem to be having trouble with attachments since iPadOS 17, so no image.

Or maybe two ….

After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s a regular frameback Hans, I don’t think that the Japanese made interchangeable blade framebacks.

Kamisori Monday!! Shizu saburo for a effortless bbs shave. There's something just cool about shaving with a kami. The shave den shop soap & aftershave tobacco leaf for lather and a smell good left my face feeling refreshed and smooth!

 

The “alligator back” Ragg did the trick this morning. Superb shave
