Where do you get your stone bases from?

I bought them off Yahoo Japan. I think a better idea might be to get a cypress/spruce/hinoki cutting board and just cut your own or have them cut.

Thiers Issard, cream was ABC lathered with a 2-band keyhole clone by @life2short1971 - I wanted something lighter for AS, so classic Yardley lavender got the call.

Two passes and touch ups with the Kamisori Razor and Feather Artist Club Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Hendrick's Witch Hazel and then Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This may be my favorite razor. I hesitate to say that as I know I’ve been pretty fickle in declaring my favorite in the past (and the YSK is superb.) Anyhow - just another wonderful shave from this razor

This one immediately called out to me and I’m smooth, smooth, smooth once more. While it’s a lovely razor it’s deceptively sharp and left a small collection of nicks around the mouth and chin. They healed quickly, no harm, no foul.
