This shave took lots of samples. Three packets of the T&H 1805 (very nice scent) were immediately absorbed into the brush and weren’t enough to produce a meaningful lather. Adding a packet of Sandalwood did the trick for a lovely shave with the Lund.

EDIT: Hahaha - just noticed from the picture that the 1805 was an aftershave balm, no wonder it didn’t lather.

I usually wait a couple of days between shaves but wanted to be smooth tomorrow. So, this was a good time to break out one of my smaller razors. The backstory starts with a tip from @Steve56 about a set of Lunds on a BIN on eBay. I jumped on it but hadn’t read the description closely enough to realize these are what one artisan razor provider describes as “midi.” No worries, they make a welcome addition to my den and are a nice change of pace every now and then - like today.

OK, backstory over. The Wednesday Lund was simply a fine shave, light and easy

Oh, and I did it again. I mistakenly tried to lather up the after shave balm. Fortunately this time I realized it right away and swapped in the shaving cream.
