What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Beautiful razor, Karl! I’ve always admired the Engels razors. Really like the bolsters on the scales!

 

Gotta love those Japanese straights! I own a few, and really enjoy using them. And Baume BE is comparable to MWF in skin benefits.

 

Hans, I like your razor stand. Do you have a notch cut into the base to support the razor. I have a wooden stand without a notch and it can be tricky, sometimes to balance the razor.

 

Thanks! I thought about it when I made this stand so I took a Neodymium magnet to keep it in place.

PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a heavy scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: MrEE LE #007 Aluminum Handled Hybrid Knot (Badger & Boar)

POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence Bergamot & Thyme Shave Balm.
