Excellent shave this morning. This knot will have to loosen up if we're going to be friends. Have a good one.

Same as yesterday…EXCEPT I used TSD lanolin shave stick, "Iced Woodshed'—which produced a slick woodsy, manly-scented & mentholated lather!
Three smooth passes plus a little touch-up!

image.jpg Razor: Dubl Duck Special #1 1947-52 (rescaled)
Gillette New SC Red & Black set 1930s
Brush: Fuller Amber Badger 1920s -1940s
Mug: Old Spice (late glass Mug 02) 1964 – 1978
    Cream: TOBS Grapefruit cream
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Old Spice
Flower: Double Hibiscus from the back yard

20 laps on the strop after my last shave, keeping it sharp. Lathered up the TOBS with the Badger. Getting better and a little closer. Working on getting under my upper lip, and I'm getting better. Left side of my neck is a breeze with my left hand but my right side is a challenge. I finished with my NEW SC, and only needed 1/2 pass. Still working all the angles, but getting better. Nice cucumber smell with the WH, and then some soothing JB Gel. After cleanup some vintage OS. Summers here! Y'all have a good one.

Same razor (day 6 of a 7-day use), but shave with the Valobra soft soap—which is quite slick.
Not as chilly as the 'menthol' named proclaims, but still a fine soap.

6/8+ J.A. Henckels nos to me about 6 shaves ago - one of my very best shavers and today it out did itself. I wish to have a dozen of these
Soap - Soap Commander Passion - outstanding
    Balm - Soap Commander "Love"
If all shaves were as good as today I would get bored with this hobby pretty fast

Very nice shave this morning. I've been getting some excellent shaves with Cade and I wasn't a fan of the older stuff. Have a good one.

This is a good brush. If I didn't like boar so much I could get real serious about this badger. Nice shave this morning. Have a good one.
