    W&B
    Sapone Di Paolo Lime
    Omega Hi Synthetic
I hate to admit it but this brush would have been a disappointment if I wouldn't have been wanting just the knot. The brush actually rattles when you shake it. I do like the fibers and it will be the last time anyone sees the brush and knot in it's original configuration anyway. Very nice shave with the W&B and Sapone Di Paolo. Have a good one.

    5/8 Spear
    TOBS Lavender SS
    homemade synthetic, Omega Hi knot
Excellent shave this morning. I had to attend a graduation yesterday with 5 seniors in the class so it was late last night before I got into the shop and completed the brush. I drilled a 26mm hole and set the loft at 52mm, originally factory set at 60mm. Nice performing brush. I'm expecting another synthetic brush (knot) in the mail. Have a good one.

rsz_007.jpg rsz_007.jpg rsz_3003.jpg rsz_1004.jpg I thought using this razor on Memorial Day would be appropriate

Clauss 13/16 U.S.M.C razor - bought from Noah over a year ago. It shaves as good as any razor I own. Being a jarhead forever I just had to have it and finding one is next to impossible. Especially in mint condition like this one

Soap - I picked one of the best for this special day - Martin De Candre Lavender
    Balm - Soap Commander "Love"
Brush - Black Badger given to me by another former Marine on the Den here ( Doug carey) I consider Doug a good friend. He is also a contributor here on TSD Thanks Doug
    Outstanding shave today
God Bless all you vets out there

Fourth consecutive shaving day using the Friodur. I could make this one my everyday razor…if I had to!

This razor is without doubt one of my all time top three razors, I can't believe I'm saying this as the razor is a quarter hollow and I've always been a full hollow Man, a great razor and a fantastic shaver.

image.jpg Razor: Dubl Duck Goldedge 5/8 Round point 1947-52
Gillette Ball End Tech NDC (declared 1947) Birth Year
    Brush: Vintage Ever-Ready 675 badger
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Jack Black cream
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Old Spice original Shulton

20 laps on the strop after my last shave, keeping it sharp. Face lathered the Jack Black with the Badger, after hydrating my face real well, going for extra slickness. Getting better and a little closer with the round point. Working on getting under my upper lip, and I'm getting better. Left side of my neck is a breeze with my left hand but my right side is a challenge. I finished with my Tech and only needed 1/2 pass. Still working all the angles, but getting better. Nice cucumber smell with the WH, and then some soothing JB Gel. After cleanup some vintage OS. Y'all have a good one.

From a man whom is fortunate enough to have been blessed with an abundance of quality shavers, this IS saying something, Jamie! That razor also makers great 'eye-candy'! :happy088:

Most of my razors are full hollow but I do have three Hart razors that are 1/4 hollow and they certainly shave well as does the Hayashi Diamond half hollow above
