    An American Line SS St. Louis Boker. It was my father in law's before me. The DE to the right of it is a Lady Gillette. It was also my father in law's. Both of them shave great!

    Nice razors. I like the ship theme. Bokers are excellent.

    Thanks. I like it a lot. It should last me a very long time. I thought about taking it apart and buffing it out to a high polish, but that would probably destroy the engraving on the blade. It is very shallow. So I chose to keep the patina on it. I'm sure glad I did.

    Yes it is. I've heard of Herr Wacker affiliated with a few different razor makers. One shave doesn't make a great razor but if the "honeymoon" shave is any indication it's going to be a wonderful marriage.
    I did not get it sharpened from the supplier because I wanted to check the factory edge and didn't consider it shave ready but it took a very nice comfortable edge and provided a good close shave. I like it and wouldn't mind another, lol, maybe a spanish point next time.
