Remote shave from a cabin in the Sierra near Truckee. A staff retreat with 10 other guys. Young guys are fascinated when I break out the old Wosty cutthroat shaver-and yes they think I'm nuts. Too bad they won't know what a really great shave feels like! ;)

    Day 3 ODH:
Continues to provide simply excellent shaves. By the first few passes today it seemed to be pulling just a bit (quite possibly my imagination), so I decided to go with about 10 strokes on CrOx. That did the trick. Wee bit of localized burn with the vintage Old Spice, obviously from the few passes before the touch-up, but sweet as sugar for the rest of the shave. Super good steel makes for a super good shave, and this razor is Solingen steel at it's best.

If I wasn't borrowing Kevin's at the moment, I'd be suffering right along with you. Seems good ones just never turn up.

Been a few months since my last post! Not shave with a straight razor for about three months. Decided to today and only one slight cut. God I love my Revisor 8/8. Though I swear it want to cut me! Has a very sharp point at the end which I may curve off one of these days...

Was watching, or should I say listening to, five card stud with Dean Martin and Robert Mitchem to get into the spirt of things. :)

After using the DE for the past few days, it felt great to pull out an SR. I tried to apies swmbo, and I used the DE on my neck and chin, 2 passes. Used the SR on rest of face. The single pass wtg with the SR was a far superior shave, and nick free, while the DE left nicks on neck and chin.

You cannot beat the wonderful scent of Le Terre Verte Lou, great looking Revisor by the way Revisor make some of if not the best modern razors you can buy today, I hone quite a few of them and always say they are such nice razors to put over the hones I love honing them they are so smooth, and testament to them I usually get the same ones back about once every year.

    Day 4 ODH:
Beginning to feel like the back of my hand. Zooms around my face in quick time, and delivers great shaves with just a few linen/leather strop strokes as razor prep. I gotta get one of these...fingers crossed!

This is where Kevin's ODH lives when it's not working. On my dresser in my bedroom in a closed box with descant packs. Keeps the celluloid happy :).
