I'm looking for a new kitchen knife. That thing looks about the right size. Lol, and I thought my Bow was big...wow

No doubt, Mike's good. My goldedge is still sharp and smooth just as it was when I got it back.

ha ha, yep. My photos have never been better. The wife and I had Samsung Infuse phones for 4+ years and I decided to treat her and myself to new ones. Samsung Note 5 is what I bought and the camera is awesome. The whole phone is awesome, very happy with them

Skipping a day. Gonna let some growth appear. I wanna see how my skills are when it comes to 2 or 3 days of stubble, that and I got a couple of chin nicks I want to heal.

How many MW's do you have now Jamie?

I'm going to need one, which according to my new minimalist philosophy means something's going to have to go...

I've owned two of Michaels razors but they shaved so similar I decided to sell one to a good friend so just the one left Mike, Michael's taken a little break from making razors at present and I know from the number of PM's I receive that his work is very much in high demand, Michael started off as a custom knife maker I was quite honoured when he asked me to try out his very first razor he made quite sometime ago, I spoke with him last week I'm sure he will be back in the not to distant future making his fine razors.

Beckmann Steel (and the process for making it) was used by the Japanese for their top tier blades, along with YSS Super, Hitachi White, Phoenix, and the rest of the Japanese mega-steels. Extremely good stuff.

Next time you use this for SotD, give us a shot of the backside tang ;)

The other side says Solingen silver steel?? It came NOS in a new Je Bleckmann box so I guess it is possible that it is not a Bleckmann as I was told. I do know this however - todays shave is as close as it gets for me. I went back in my excel data and every time I pair up a DR Harris crème with le pere or MDC I rated the shave as perfect. just sayin

I know the Japanese "borrowed" the process from Bleckmann in Germany. "Silver Steel" could possibly be the name given by Bleckmann to their product/process, and possibly didn't want their trade name being used by the Japanese, so they used "Bleckmann Steel" instead? Hell, I don't know...maybe babies come from under cabbage leafs...
